NUCLEAR ENGINEERING CENTER
For EDF Nuclear Engineering Center, the design and implementation of a specific temporary shelter of 30m x 30m x 10m high, used by EDF and AREVA in 2014 as part of a major maintenance program on the primary circuit during a reactor shutdown. The building is a covered scaffolding structure. Inside, the air temperature is controlled. Pressurized dry air, water supply, electrical power and light of 300Lux are also provided. It is accessible through 2 sectional sliding doors (height 5m) and 5 standard fire doors. Interior soft walls are fire resistant. The implantation on site was very tricky because of a very restrictive settlement area.
